INVITATION TO BIDDERS
Sealed hard copies of bids addressed to the City Secretary’s Office, “Sealed Bid Project 26-06 Lift Station #5 Force Main Manhole Replacement”, 101 Pennsylvania Ave., Webster, TX 77598, will be received until 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2026 , at which time the names of the bidder will be read aloud, for furnishing all labor, supplies and supervision necessary for construction in accordance with plans and specifications for the:
Lift Station #5 Force Main Manhole Replacement City of Webster Bid No. 26-06
The Project will include removal and replacement of an existing SS manhole at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Medical Center Boulevard which was the termination of the Lift Station No. 5 FM. The Project will include removal of the existing manhole and installation of new larger manhole to allow full access to the manhole interior without the removal of the internal drop installed as part of the Lift Station No. 5 FM. The Project will also include the following items:

Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications, plans, and other related documents for this project. There is NO charge to view or download documents.
A NON-MANADATORY VIRTUAL PRE-BID TELECONFERENCE will be conducted virtually at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Meeting details for the pre-bid meeting will be posted on Civcast.

Deadline for posting questions is 12:00pm, Monday, June 1, 2026.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the owner, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guaranty. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of the contract and a maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas.
NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety (90) calendar days.
THE CITY reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
