1. Introduction

The Town of Maidstone is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for the Waseca Water Well Project, as outlined in the engineering report WM605.1 (2023). The selected firm will be responsible for providing engineering design, tendering, project management, and construction supervision services required to ensure the successful completion of this municipal water supply initiative.

2. Background

The Town of Maidstone has identified the need to develop a new water well to ensure long-term supply and reliability of potable water for residents and businesses. The engineering report (WM605.1 Report) outlines the technical requirements, project scope, and recommended steps necessary to move forward with this project.

3. Objectives

Ensure a sustainable potable water supply for the Town.
Complete the project in compliance with the Water Security Agency (WSA) and all relevant Saskatchewan legislation.
Provide a transparent, competitive process for contractor selection.
Deliver a cost-effective, timely, and technically sound solution.
