HVAC Roof Mounted Units

You are invited to bid on HVAC roof mounted units for the City of Abilene, Kansas Parks and Recreation Department.

The City of Abilene, Kansas, will receive sealed bids until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Office of the City Clerk, 419 N. Broadway, Abilene, Kansas 67410.

Bidders must specify the following.

• Replacement of 9 roof-mounted HVAC units. 2 are model # LGC090SBM2G
  1 model # LGC120S2BM2G and 6 model # LGC102S2BM2G.
• HVAC units need to be installed on existing HVAC curbs, without damaging the roof coating or HVAC curbs.
• The new units need to be a direct replacement with the all the options and capabilities our current units have and are capable of.
• HVAC unit information needs to be provided with the bids.
• We currently have a Honeywell WEBS N4 JACE climate control system, and the units need to be compatible with this system.
• HVAC units must be hooked up and fully functional, and tested when the job is completed
• Bids need to include total replacement price, labor cost, parts, equipment, and all the necessary costs to complete the project.
• Warranty information and time frame estimations related to the project need to be included in the bid.
• Site visits and in-person walk-throughs are a bid requirement, the address is 1020 NW 8th Street in Abilene.

Parts and service availability will be considered in the evaluation of the bid.

The City of Abilene reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities under these specifications.
