2025 Gravel Crushing Tender 02

The RM of Beaver River No. 622 hereby invites tenders from qualified contractors in order to award a contract for the following:

Crushing of approximately 20,000 – 40,000 cubic yards 3/4” – 7/8” Road Gravel to complete the RM’s 2025 gravel program.

The Contractor shall furnish all labour and necessary equipment to perform the work as specified herein.

Material shall be crushed and piled by the contractor on location at the RM Pit known as the “Goodsoil Pit” located at NE-14-61-21-W3.

Once materials have been stockpiled in the Goodsoil Pit, the stockpile will be surveyed via drone by the Municipality. The Contractor will inform the RM Administrator when nearing 80% completion in order to schedule survey of the pile in a timely manner.

Contractors are to provide expected completion date

The RM shall make payment of the account within thirty (30) days of the drone survey result. Payment subject to the pit being left in acceptable condition.

The Contractor must provide a Clearance Certificate from Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board.

The Contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance for two million dollars in liability insurance.

In order to provide a semblance of consistency in the tendering process, tender must be submitted on the enclosed Tender Sheet, and attach additional descriptions as requested.

**The RM reserves the right to reject any tender submitted in a way which deviates from the process as listed above. **

Tenders are to be received at the above noted address no later than August 15th, 2025, 4:00 P.M. CST.

Lowest or any tender is not necessarily accepted.

The RM may, at their discretion, following the closing time, select certain Tenderers as being short-listed to negotiate and discuss their tenders further with the RM Council. If the RM chooses to short-list Tenderers, the RM Administrator shall notify the Tenderer as to whether Tenderer has been short-listed.
