Statement of Work (SOW)



For -80c Ultra-Low Freezers



GENERAL INFORMATION





1.0 Scope of Work: The research department requires long term ultra-low temperate storage of biological samples for continuing research projects. Several of these freezers are at or past lifecycle and need to be replaced.



2.0 Background: We required -80c freezers that can store samples for prolonged periods of time at -80c. We have purchased several different brands of -80c freezers in the past most are at are past lifecycle. We are looking to standardize the fleet of -80c freezers to ensure uniformity of maintenance and performance. In the future we will be expanding our research department and the need for -80c freezers will grow with the expansion. The goal of this purchase is to begin to standardize the -80c freezers we have in research as well as to meet our future needs.
