25-3941 Cummins Engines for GTA Buses

The City of Greenville is assisting the Greenville Transit Authority (GTA) in Greenville, South Carolina in soliciting bids from qualified firms for a vendor to furnish remanufactured Cummins complete engines for nine (9) of its transit buses. Buses were manufactured by Gillig and are powered by Cummins L9 engines. Each bus is 35’ in length and was manufactured from 2011-2012. Greenville Transit Authority d.b.a. Greenlink employees will be replacing the engines at its maintenance facility located at 205 Arcadia Drive, Greenville S.C. 29609. The vendor will be responsible for delivering engines and picking up cores. Engines must be crated when delivered. Delivery and pick up must be done in a timely manner.

Bids will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, April 16, 2025.  The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., April 9, 2025.
