Description

Gwinnett County Public Library (hereafter referred to as "GCPL" or library) is soliciting proposals (RFP) for private (non-shared)
Wide Area Network (WAN) services, specifically a fiber-connected metro-area layer 2 backbone network from qualified vendors
(hereafter referred to as "Vendor" or respondent) to be used by the library. Within the scope of this request, GCPL currently operates
a WAN consisting of fifteen (15) AT&T ASEoD network connections and a Point-to-Point connection to our disaster recovery
site hereafter referred to as "DR site or DR. Both the DR link and the WAN terminate back to our headquarters location hereafter
referred to as "HQ".
GCPL is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide flexible VLAN-based WAN services, required equipment (if needed
in proposal), MIBS (if needed in proposal), and security services (if needed in proposal) for all 15 remote locations (16th location
will be opening in Summer of 2025). A separate connection from our DR site back to the HQ location is also required. Vendors
should demonstrate proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining core network technologies, delivering stability
to network services, and ensuring seamless integration of equipment at remote branches with equipment at our HQ and other
facilities.
