Process Services

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is seeking process
service vendors to provide cost effective process services with proven
record of successful service and experience in the industry throughout
New York State, and outside New York State, within the United States,
including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Territories, as well as
Canada. The service is sought to serve the needs of the Worker
Protection Division, which is engaged in protecting New York State
workers by enforcing labor laws to ensure employers are in compliance
with state and federal standards.

NYSDOL is soliciting bids for service of summonses and other legal
papers and proof of service thereof by affidavit of service. The term
“summons,” used hereinafter, shall mean any papers for which the
NYSDOL requests service, which shall include but not be limited to a
summons with notice, summonses and complaints, notices of petition and
petitions, notices of motion and supporting papers, subpoenas, citations,
orders, and judgments. NYSDOL expects to issue up to 75 summonses
per month.

information required for submitting a bid. Bidders should pay strict attention to the submission date and time in Section 1.2 – Key Events/Dates of this document to prevent disqualification.
