On the Canals Excursions 2025

The New York State Canal Corporation (NYSCC) announces this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify qualified providers to develop & operate, and/or support, a variety of recreational adventures, available to people of all abilities, in a New York State Canal System location, potentially beginning in June 2025, in support of the On the Canals Program. These adventures will be part of a series of Canal-based programming offered to the public and accessible to all, wherever possible, for an agreed-upon period, during the Summer (2025), Fall (2025) and Winter (2025-26) seasons. Goals of this programming include local and regional economic development and furthering NYSCC environmental and social responsibility objectives.

Submitted proposals will be accepted via email as indicated on the NYPA.GOV website. Respondents are hereby directed to use NYPA’s website (www.nypa.gov/procurement) to obtain complete bid documents, bid addenda, post bid-addenda and related notices. Proposers obtaining bid documents from sources other than the Authority's web site do so at their own risk. Incomplete proposal responses may be rejected.
