Scope of Work:
1. Upgrade the Aeration Basins and associated channels, Blowers and Secondary
Control Complex (SCC) Building. The scope of work to include:
A. Various structural modifications.
B. Retrofit of Aeration Basins 3, 4, 7 and 8 to be seismically resilient (Bid
Alternate)
C. Retrofit of the Secondary Control Complex (SCC) building to be seismically
resilient (Bid Alternate 2)
D. Building modifications including conversion of a mechanical equipment room
to an electrical room.
E. Roof replacement for the SCC (Bid Alternate 3)
F. Addition of two new turbo blowers (and modifications to one existing turbo
blower).
G. Inspection, renovation and replacement of corroded process air piping and
process water (W2) piping and associated valves.
H. Replacement of the course bubble channel mixing system with a
compressed air mixing system.
I. Replacement of fine bubble diffuser discs or fine bubble diffuser system in
Aeration Basins 3, 4, 7 and 8 (Bid Alternates 4 and 5).
J. Replacement of the instrument air system.
K. Replacement of building mechanical and plumbing systems.
L. Provision of air conditioning in spaces or enclosures containing electrical
equipment sensitive to temperature.
M. Electrical work associated with equipment replacement and upgrades.

N. Instrumentation and control work associated with equipment replacement
and upgrades.
O. Upgrades to electrical distribution equipment associated with the aeration
system.
P. Upgrades to the aeration system instrument communications system to
PROFINET and associated actuators and instruments with PROFINET
compatible equipment.
Q. Installation of a fire alarm system.
