Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed contract to WebMD Health Corporation to recertify and reaccredit 2023 Spotlight Course entitled “Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Diagnosis and Management in the Age of COVID-19: Expert Insights”. The Government desires to obtain the continuing education course to increase providers’ knowledge and healthcare for patients with ME/CFS. This course is copyrighted by Medscape, WebMD Health Corporation, and so could not be recertified by other vendors. The anticipated period of performance is 09/01/2025 through 08/31/2026. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6 “Limiting Sources” and 41 U.S.C. § 3304(a). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received prior to the date and time below will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to the Contract Specialist at zwh7@cdc.gov by 12:00PM (ET) on 08/25/2025.
