Event Description
The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation requires an annual audit completed of the
Unemployment Insurance Trust fund. This RFP is to conduct audits of fiscal years 2025 through
2029 (5 years). Some years, the financial component would be the only portion necessary for the
audit. Other years may require both the financial component and the single audit.
This RFP seeks a quoted price for when just the financial component is to be completed, and a
separate quoted price for when the full financial and single audit component needs to be
completed. If the offeror anticipates inflationary increases beyond the State’s annual cost of living
adjustment, the anticipated inflationary increases should be included in the offeror’s proposal.
Offerors may email inquiries concerning this RFP to obtain clarification of requirements. No
inquiries will be accepted after the date and time indicated in the Schedule of Activities. Inquiries
must be emailed to Emily Ward at Emily.ward@state.sd.us with the subject line “RFP
#25RFP14178”.
The State will to respond to offeror’s inquiries (if required) via e-mail. In addition, all inquiries and
the State’s response will be posted on the state’s e-procurement system. Offerors may not rely on
any other statements, either of a written or oral nature, that alter any specification or other term or
condition of this RFP. Offerors will be notified in the same manner as indicated above regarding
any modifications to this RFP.
