Football Press Box
(1) 8’- 0” x 60’- 0” treated wood press box w/8’ – 0” x 60’ – 0” support system the bottom of the platform will be 13’ elevated off the ground centered on the 50-yard line and extending an equal distance in both directions.
(2) Materials will be delivered by bidder installed to include Tax, Bonds (Performance and Bid) and Licensure verification.
This price does NOT include any installation of bleachers, demo of existing bleachers or foundation work for bleachers. It will include the cutting of current concrete to provide the under structure beams necessary to hold the press box to the desired elevation and the installation of this structure.
Press Box Includes:
(1) Sheet metal siding (Lonoke Purple) with proper framing.
(2) Windows 48’ total with 4 on each end with 6’ windows in each and 24’ windows in the center section. 4 outlets in each small room and 14 outlets in the middle room for a total of 30 outlets.
(3) Two (2) exterior entry doors on either end and two (2) interior doors to the large room.
(4) Two (2) 8’0 square landings with safety fencing at the end of the press box for entry into the facility. Access will be from the bleachers which will require 17’ of elevated walkway that must be OSHA compliant.
(5) Galvanized Steel or engineer approved treated wood frame support structure with either galvanized steel or engineer approved wood beam with galvanized steel cross bracing on all (4) sides of the structure for support and safety.
(6) Sheetrock walls interior.
(7) One (1) PTAC unit with a split wall in the end rooms and three units in the large room. (provided by the school)
(8) Interior exit lighting and exterior lighting at the doors.
(9) Overhead lighting in each of the rooms one unit for each small room and four units for the large room.
(10) * All electrical work to be performed by a licensed electrician. Any speakers, data racks, PA systems, or any other specialty electrical items will be installed and serviced by a licensed and bonded electrician. Construction company will need direct coordination with the electrical subcontractor to coordinate all rough outs*.
All bids should be submitted to Lonoke School District, Attn: Brett Bunch, 401 W Holly St, Lonoke, AR 72086. Bids will close on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM and will be opened in the Lonoke Administration Offices Boardroom at 2:00 PM the same day.
