General Notice
City of Mercedes (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the followingProject:
Bid No. 2026‐001
Proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by Mr. Alberto Perez, City Manager, at City of
Mercedes City Hall located at 400 South Ohio, Mercedes, TX 78570, until Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at
3:00 PM local time. Staff recommendation due July 15, 2026 by 2:00 pm. Reviewed by Commission on
July 21, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday
through Friday between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents
from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from
the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding
Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Prospective
bidders shall obtain an official set of bidding documents and be registered with the issuing office to be
permitted to bid on the project.
Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does
not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or
electronic documents on USB will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery service. The shipping
charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Bidding Documents are available for purchase
in the following formats:
