COMMISSIONING SERVICES FOR THE ULSTER COUNTY GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS CENTER

Ulster County is seeking proposals from a qualified firm interested in providing Building Commissioning Services for the Ulster County Government Operations Center in New Paltz, NY.

The objective of commissioning services for this large-scale municipal building construction project is to verify that all building systems are designed, installed, functionally tested, and operated according to the project’s specifications and the County’s requirements.

There are five (5) prime contractors performing the work on this project: General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor and Site Contractor. The County’s Project Manager will be responsible to coordinate the work among the prime contractors and the Commissioning Authority (CxA). The selected firm shall perform Commissioning inspections as needed and at the times required to maintain the overall project schedule, and to maintain the schedule of each individual contractor.
