RFI - #004313 SUNY Comprehensive 24/7 Managed SOC Services

The State University of New York (SUNY) is seeking information regarding solutions for a 24/7 Managed Security Operations Center (SOC) with Extended Detection and Response capabilities. For the purposes of this RFI, "Extended Detection and Response" refers to a unified security solution that automatically collects and correlates data across multiple security layers – email, endpoints, servers, cloud workloads, and networks – enabling the detection, analysis, hunting, and response to threats across the entire technology environment. This document provides vendors with information about SUNY's requirements and seeks detailed responses about available solutions in the marketplace.

Vendors are requested to respond to all questions included in this RFI. A response does not bind or obligate the responder or SUNY to any agreement for the provision of commodities or services referenced. No contracts will be awarded based on RFI submissions. Responding or not responding to this RFI does not preclude a vendor from bidding on any future solicitations.

Since this RFI is designated as a tool to collect information, and will not result in a contract, it does not fall under the requirements of State Finance Law §139-J and 139K, Procurement Lobbying Law; and there is no restricted period.
