Attendance at the Conference is not mandatory, but all interested parties are encouraged to attend in order to facilitate better preparation of their Bids. If the solicitation includes an MBE participating goal, failure to attend the Conference will be taken into consideration as part of the evaluation of a bidder’s good faith efforts if there is a waiver request. It is highly recommended that all Prime Contractors bring their intended subcontractors to the Conference/Site Visit to make sure that all parties understand the IFB requirements and the socio-economic goals of this solicitation.
