PRE-BID MEETING:

The Town of Vail will not be scheduling a pre-bid meeting.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 1800lf of the 10’ wide asphalt North Recreation Path and replace with an 11’ wide asphalt path. Removal and replacement of approximately 830sf of modular block landscape wall. Construction of three concrete curb ramps and the associated curb and gutter. There is a bid alternate for the removal of the steel girder bridge over Red Sandstone Creek to be replaced with a traffic rated cast in place concrete pedestrian bridge structure.

Any questions concerning this Request for Bids shall be directed IN WRITING ONLY to the Town by E-MAIL: cdelles@vail.gov . All questions shall be directed to the contacts listed above no later than 12:00 P.M. Friday June 19, 2026. Final questions and answers will be sent to pre-qualified bidders that have requested Drawings and Specifications for the Project no later than Wednesday June 24, 2026.No Addenda will be issued later than June 26, 2026, except for an addendum, if necessary, postponing the Bid date or withdrawing the Invitation for Bids.
