City of Winder, Georgia (Owner) is requesting Quotes for the Construction of the following Project:

City of Winder Earthen Dam Renovation of Winder Reservoir Dam (aka City Pond Dam)

Project Overview:

The City of Winder is soliciting quotations from qualified contractors for the repair of an existing

concrete spillway structure. The intent of the project is to address known and visible deficiencies in

the concrete spillway, while also providing flexibility for the Engineer to identify and direct the repair of

additional issues that may be discovered during a full on-site inspection.

The work includes phased repairs that maintain normal pool levels and ensure the spillway remains

operational outside of the immediate work areas. The contractor will be required to utilize appropriate

water diversion methods (e.g., cofferdams, sandbags, or steel sheet piles) to keep active repair zones

dry without draining the facility beyond its normal pool.

Scope of repair work includes, but is not limited to:

• Removal of Water Within Work Area: Diversion within spillway throughout construction.

• Chute Spalling Repair: Saw cutting, surface preparation, primer, and surface face repair per

plans.

• Chute Crack Repair: Crack repair with sealant and epoxy injection/ elastic product per plans.

• Chute Joint Repair: Saw cut where necessary. Apply sealant in joints per plans.

• Quality Control and Inspection: The Engineer shall conduct detailed inspections prior to and

after product application to confirm compliance. All repairs must be completed according to

manufacturer guidelines and to the satisfaction of the Engineer.

The Project has an expected duration of 30 days.
