ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the renovation of existing restrooms within the Chestnuthill Community Center located at 221 Route 715, Brodheadsville on property owned by Chestnuthill Township. Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program, by Chestnuthill Township, until 3 PM local time on April 29, 2026 when Bids will be opened and publicly available on PennBid.
The opened bids will be considered and possibly awarded by the Township Board of Supervisors at its regular meeting scheduled for May 5, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, 271 PA-715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
The Project consists of the renovation of the existing restrooms to include ADA compliant restrooms. Both the male and female restrooms to include the installation of ADA Water Closets, relocating hand Lavs, installation of hand dryers, baby changing stations and associated restroom remodeling. ALL CONSTRUCTION TO TAKE PLACE BETWEEN AUGUST 3, 2026 AND SEPTEMBER 30, 2026.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building located at 271 Route 715, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 with a site visit to follow.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage

Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
