Description
The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior (DOI), Congaree National Park has a requirement for the following project; Fire Suppression System Repairs. This procurement is being set aside for Small Business, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). If your company is interested, submit your detailed capabilities in writing to demonstrate the same or similar experience to this project. This is not a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification, or drawings are available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Pre-Solicitation announcement, or any follow-up information requests. If you choose to submit a package, clearly identify the park and project on your package (Congaree National Park, Fire Suppression System Repairs) and identify your socio-economic status; Small Business, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE).
Your response is due no later than 0900hrs/9:00 am Eastern Time on 31 March 2025.
The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a competitive set-aside or full and open competition. All firms should be registered and certified in the Systems for Awards Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov, in order to participate in this requirement. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database.
This pre-solicitation announcement is not a solicitation document, but pre-notice of an upcoming solicitation. Specific instructions on submitting your proposal will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below.

Project Description (Scope); The primary objective of the project is to provide the replacement/repairs of the fire suppression system with comparable and compatible units that meet national and local code required specifications and standards. These replacements are essential to fully restore the functionality of the fire suppression system, in accordance with the Statement of Work.
This requirement involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work when the solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation and other attachments as required. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued.
The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and its attachments will be issued electronically. Anticipated publish date: On or about 31 March 2025. The solicitation documents will be posted to SAM.gov | Contract Opportunities. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
Site Visit; Only one site visit will be offered for this opportunity, and the information shall be listed in the formal solicitation when it is published to SAM.gov.
