Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online by North Wales Water Authority via PennBid until 1:00 P.M. prevailing time on March 5, 2026 at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted via PennBid for:

I&I ABATEMENT (G-012)

The project consists of various repairs to approximately 34 existing manholes in order to prevent inflow and infiltration. The repairs range from the removal and replacement of castings, locating and adjusting the height of the manhole castings to the existing grade, installation of new manholes, repair of leaking seals and sewer connections located in North Wales Borough, Montgomery County, PA. The project also includes installation of approximately 465 linear feet of sanitary sewer lateral services with PVC pipe along S. 8th Street, along with associated roadway, sidewalk, curb, and lawn restoration.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of North Wales Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of North Wales Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
The North Wales Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
