Background:

The Ecuadorian Air Force has a need for spare parts ordering for four (4) A-29B aircraft. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather details from qualified suppliers and vendors capable of providing a comprehensive spare parts ordering solution. This RFI will assist the Government in identifying vendors with the capabilities to meet our current and future requirements, leading to a potential RFP.

Requirements:

Please confirm your ability to perform the following:

1. Confirm sourcing capability for all part numbers or alternative part numbers listed in the attached parts list. For each item, indicate in column D of the attached spreadsheet whether sourcing is currently possible, as shown below:

2. Provide at least one example of a previous purchase of each part number or demonstrate equivalent experience and capability. Experience with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is also relevant and can be considered. Examples may include previous purchases, agreements, or collaborations.


3. Provide a description of how long lead-time challenges are addressed and overcome.


4. Describe quality control measures implemented to ensure part authenticity.

Any interested party shall submit a completed spreadsheet and capabilities package that explicitly addresses the requirements above. Failure to address each requirement may result in the Government being unable to adequately assess contractor capabilities.

This Sources Sought is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible small and/or other than small business firms capable of providing the supplies described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an RFP. Any future contract actions that the Government may intend to execute will be synopsized on the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) as applicable in accordance with FAR 5.201(b).
