Project Description: The Chester Housing Authority is planning to replace the roofs of eighty-nine (89) units within the Wellington Ridge and the Chatham Estates communities. The existing roofing materials include asphalt shingles and plywood sheathing or a flat ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) roof. The scope of this project includes the replacement of the entire roof and all sheathing on all units. The work includes all roofing materials located on main roofs, porch roofs and dormer roofs. The base bid work consists of but is not limited to removing and replacing roofing materials including all shingles, roof sheathing, ridge vents, all flashing and/or the replacement of an EPDM roof. The Base Bid work for this project also includes the replacement of the fascia and soffits as well as the replacement of the gutters and downspouts.
