No Out of Country Presswork or Shipping

This project is time-sensitive and requires domestic production to ensure timely delivery.

SCOPE OF WORK

1. description: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to obtain a contractor to provide one 24in x 18in bronze cast plaque for use by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife by April 1, 2026.

2. QUANTITY: 1

3. SPECIFICATIONS: This project is for a single 24in by 18in bronze cast plaque to be exposed to the elements year-round. The plaque is to feature polished or brushes raised lettering and artwork with an antiqued leatherette background. Four to six threaded blind mounts cast onto the back of the plaque is required. Requested delivery by April 1st, or sooner.

A. TYPE: Cast (raised lettering and imagery)

B. SIZE: 24in x 18in

C. TEXTURE: Leatherette

D. FINISH: Polished or brushed

E. STRUCTURE: 4-6 Rear or blind mounts (4-6 pads/bosses cast on back – drilled and tapped to accept threaded hardware)

F. ARTWORK: Artwork is vector based and can be available in an array of vendor preferred formats.

4. PRe-production: No production is to begin until all artwork has been approved by a ODNR or Division of Wildlife representative. Any items produced without review or agency sign-off is subject to payment penalty and delivery refusal. Requested changes by the ordering agency (Ohio Division of Wildlife) that result in additional charges or fees must be presented to the agency for approval and then submitted as a separate charge from the awarded PO price.

B. PRESSCHECK: No onsite press check is required.

5. SHIPPING: If the vendor or manufacturer is within 120 miles of the address below (Columbus, Ohio), a client pick-up or vendor drop-off can be arranged to ensure secure delivery. If shipping by commercial means, all deliveries are to arrive prior to 4pm, Monday through Friday only. No weekend or holiday deliveries accepted.

NOTE: The means of transportation of the final product is at the vendors discretion. All costs associated with the shipping of this project are to be accounted for by the vendor and included into the final bid. The ODNR Division of Wildlife is NOT responsible for additional costs incurred for shipping which includes, but is not limited to, the return of damaged or sub-standard products, or the refusal of delivery based on shipping container visual inspection.

6. DEADLINE: Delivered by April 1, 2026 or sooner.

LOT PRICE and INVOICING

1. LOT PRICE AWARD: There will be one (1) low lot total award made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all bid specifications and requirements listed herein. Bidder shall not insert a unit cost more than 3 digits after the decimal point. Digit(s) beyond 3, after the decimal point shall be dropped and not used in the evaluation and any subsequent award.

2. INVOICING: All invoices are to be submitted DIRECTLY to the Ohio Financial Shared Services (FSS).

A. There are two options available to submit invoices to FSS:

i. Email: invoices@ohio.gov

ii. Mail: Financial Shared Services, PO Box 182880, Columbus, Ohio 43218-2880

B. Please indicate the origin code “N22” on the invoice with the title/name of our agency.

This number is specific to the Ohio Division of Wildlife and will offer faster and thorough processing.
