Project Description: The project is for the construction of a trailhead facility for the Enola Low Grade Trail (a multi-use recreation trail) located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Work includes clearing and grubbing activities, paving operations, installation of E&SPC and PCSM controls, landscaping, and placement of signing and pavement markings.
A separate contract “Enola Low Grade Trail Section 2”, will be issued for items related to the trail construction and function. The trail scope of work is limited to areas outside of the trailhead facility, which generally includes the 14’ trail and 18’ shared access drive from Station 248+75 to Station 323+25. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals on both contracts.
Notice-to-Proceed is anticipated to be provided on or about December 8, 2025 with all work being completed by June 26, 2026.
