Summary

The City of Charlottesville is requesting bids for RFQ 25-131 for CHS STAFF OFFICE FLOORS . The scope of this project involves the complete removal of existing floor finishes in designated CHS school staff offices and the main office lobby. Work includes the removal and proper disposal of all carpet, VCT, cove base, associated adhesives and accessories to prepare the concrete substrate for refinishing. Following removal, the contractor will grind, polish, and dye the exposed concrete floor to meet specified finish standards per specification. As a highlight feature, a school-approved logo will be installed in the main office lobby floor, integrated into the polished concrete surface with precise alignment and finishing to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards.
