Water Treatment Plant Miscellaneous Improvements - Rebid

Project Description: The project includes the demolition and construction of concentrated alum and polymer feed piping, alum day tanks, and associated instrumentation and appurtenances; demolition of Hydrofluorosilic bulk and day tank; construction of polymer bulk tank and day tank, alum day tanks, as well as associated instrumentation and appurtenances; demolition of existing 55-gallon polymer drum scales and associated appurtenances; demolition and construction of diluted alum and polymer piping, fluoride piping and various drain pipes; demolition and construction of mud valve stems, stem supports, and washdown water piping within existing sedimentation basins; replacement of anthracite coal filter media and filter underdrain inspection; electric generator installation and associated instrumentation and appurtenances for integration with the existing system; demolition of existing manual transfer switches and the construction of automatic transfer switches, as well as associated control and electrical improvements related to the instrumentation in the chemical feed area.
