Description

The Norwalk Transit District is soliciting proposals for the successful deployment of a demand-response paratransit software system to improve scheduling, dispatching, and operational efficiency. The system will support both directly operated and contracted services, enabling real-time trip optimization, rider self-service portals, integrated fare collection, and comprehensive reporting capabilities. This procurement is supported in part by funding from the Connecticut Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.
