This is a sources sought notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources with elevator and lift maintenance and repair experience. The FEAD Parris Island, South Carolina is seeking qualified companies to provide Elevator and Lift Maintenance and Repair Services for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island and the Naval Hospital Beaufort (NHB), South Carolina. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment required to perform elevator maintenance and repair services as described in the Performance Work Statement and associated attachments.
The work will be accomplished under a combination Recurring/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Non-Recurring/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) option periods. Estimated contract start date is 1 May 2027. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract on time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the Option-to-Extend Services clause. Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors). The Small Business Size Standard is $22 million.
Interested vendors should at a minimum, fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form, inclusive of the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, business size, and disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZone status. Vendors are also invited to provide the following information, paying particular attention to address: contracts of similar scope and size, references, and record of past performance. All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities in regard to the above no later than 3PM EST on 9 July 2026. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government.
