This solicitation is being made pursuant to the M/WBE Noncompetitive Small Purchase Method, Section 3-08 of the New York City Procurement Policy (PBB) Rules, this procurement is exclusively for the City Certified Minority and Woman Owned Business (M/WBEs).

The Department of Social Services (DSS)/New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) is a governmental agency dedicated to fighting poverty and income inequality by providing New Yorkers in need with essential benefits such as cash assistance, food assistance, public health insurance, emergency rental assistance, and other aid and services. As the largest local social services agency in the country, HRA helps over 3 million New Yorkers annually through the administration of more than 12 major public assistance programs, with more than 14,000 employees and an operating budget of $9.7 billion.

DSS/ITS is requesting the Purchase of 5 SMART Boards & Wall Brackets with 5-Years Warranty.

AR224886/SO7668R: OCSS (BC 9424) is requesting the purchase of the "SMART Board RX286 Collaboration Display and SMART 2 Year Assure warranty extension." SMART Boards in the 2 OCSS Training Rooms are outdated, not working consistently, and have reached end of life. Furthermore, there is no current service contract that can provide tech support should these devices have issues. New SMART Boards will facilitate better training sessions for staff.

ServiceNow REQ 0205638/SO0001012: Security Administration (BC 9175) is requesting the purchase of SMART Board RX075 series interactive display with iQ and Large Clean Wall Bundle (Wall Brackets). The DHS Police Training Academy urgently requests approval to replace the classrooms’ Smart Board, which became inoperable last week. This equipment is mission-critical for delivering DCJS mandated instruction, interactive scenario-based training, and multimedia coursework required for all Peace Officer recruits. A new Basic Peace Officer Academy class is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 2, 2026. The Smart Board is the primary instructional tool used to deliver core lessons, legal modules, use-of-force scenarios, and standardized testing content. Without a functioning board, instructors cannot meet required training standards, and the Academy cannot proceed with the scheduled class.

The bid closes on 5/8/2026 2:00 PM. Please submit your proposals by both acknowledging the receipt of the RFx in the Acknowledgement tab and completing your response in the Manage Responses tab. Vendor resources and materials can be found at the link below under the Finding and Responding to RFx heading. If you need additional assistance with PASSPort, please contact the MOCS Service Desk .
