Project Description: This Contract provides for full service maintenance on the Elevators specified herein which shall include preventive maintenance services. All equipment under this contract shall be maintained in first-class operating condition. Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor and comply with all requirements of current elevator Codes ASME A17.1 and Washington Administrative Code (WAC 296-96 or current WAC) or Current Codes. Contractor shall place into operation a continuing system of Full Preventive Maintenance to provide necessary systematic services and preventive maintenance for the Elevator equipment described herein. Contractors shall provide “Elevator Full Service Maintenance” necessary and normal maintenance, immediate-need removal and installation or repair of replacement parts, preventative maintenance, to include all Labor and Material/Parts, of all elevators/lifts in City owned or managed facilities and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
The City intends to award one contract for a period of five (5) years.
