Description

In accordance FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Unicom Government Inc. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Unicom Government, Inc. 15000 Conference Center Drive, STE 500, Chantilly, Virginia 20151-3841. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Furthermore, components of the CCDS will be upgraded to phase out end of lifecycle or discontinued parts, guaranteeing its alignment with the current DHS/DOD cyber security mandates.
