Description:

North Carolina General Statute (N.C.G.S.) 143-132(a) requires a minimum of three competitive bids be received for formal construction and repair contracts. Three bids were not received on July 8, 2025. Should fewer than the required three bids be offered for formal projects advertised as N.C.G.S. 143-129 requires, the project may be re-advertised.

Therefore, pursuant to N.C.G.S. formal bidding laws, sealed bid proposals endorsed “Helen Nichols Park Walking Trail, FB25303” will be received by City/County Purchasing, City Hall, 101 N. Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 until 1:00 PM, July 15, 2025, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on the front steps of City Hall
