The purpose of this bid is to award an annual contract or contracts to supply fire hydrant parts for the City of Irving Water Utilities Department. The most commonly used parts are listed to obtain firm pricing for the duration of the contract. For items not specifically listed in this bid, parts pricing is based on percentage of “discount off” manufacturer’s suggested list price.
All parts must be made by manufacturer. No aftermarket parts are allowed.
Any questions or requests for clarification should be submitted under the questions tab in this online solicitation. The questions will be shared with the department after the end of the cut-off date/time and will be posted as soon as they are received from the department. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specifications, an addendum will be issued.
