CMAR - COC B Switchgear Replacement

Request for Proposals (“RFP”)

County of Orange (“County”) is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors (“Respondents”), to provide Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”) Services for CMAR - COC B Switchgear Replacement Project (“Project”) located at 1300 S. Grand Ave, Building B Santa Ana, CA 92705 . The awarded proposal (“Contract”) will provide a negotiated Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Design Phase Services between the County and the selected Respondent (“CMAR Entity” or “CMARE”). The County may, at its sole discretion, exercise its option to negotiate a GMP for the construction of the Project with the CM and will return to the Board of Supervisors for authorization to execute a construction services contract.

All questions/requests for interpretation are due: Wednesday, April 30, 2025 by 2:00 pm Pacific Time. All questions and inquiries related to this RFP must be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal at: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/ocgov.

Respondents are not to contact other County personnel with any questions or clarifications concerning this RFP. County Procurement Services will provide all official communication concerning this RFP. Any response relevant to this RFP other than through or approved by County Procurement Services is unauthorized and will be considered invalid.

The County of Orange, OC Public Works (hereinafter referred to as “County”), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as “Respondents”) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for COC B Switchgear Replacement.

Respondents must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth within the RFP and be capable of providing services identified in the Scope of Work herein.
