Summary
The City of Greer is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified architectural firms to provide comprehensive design services for the development of a new fire station. The awarded firm will be part of the integral team to work with a qualified construction firm to assist with the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services. The City will procure the CMaR services at a later time.
Background
The City of Greer announced on March 12, 2024, a $100 million community investment initiative consisting of four (4) projects to be delivered to this community over the next four (4) years. The City is marketing the initiative as "ForGreer." This new fire station off Groce Meadow Road is one of those projects and will serve Lake Cunningham area. This station will also be a suburban response facility and will house water rescue apparatus and Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) medical teams.
