RFP: Resident Project Representative (RPR) Services Genesee Crossroads Park Revitalization
Overview
The Genesee Crossroads Park Revitalization project goals include, but are not limited to, improving public safety, enhancing visibility and river views, and Riverway Trail reconstruction to provide full accessibility for all users. The location of the project is the Genesee Crossroads Park and the Genesee Riverway Trail on the east side of the Genesee River, which is connected to Austin Steward Plaza via the Sister Cities Pedestrian Bridge.
The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, the following:
The City is seeking the services of a Consultant to perform the following services to implement the Project. Respondent’s proposal shall address each of the following services and identified tasks. The proposal shall address each of the requested services, using the same identifying language, including any paragraph or section numbers or letters as used in the RFP.
Services will involve providing a qualified Project Representative and Construction Inspection staff for the duration of the project. This includes, but is not limited to, providing a full-time NICET level III or higher (or approved equivalent) Resident Project Representative-In-Charge and NICET-certified (or equivalent) inspection and support staff as needed. Staff with NICET, ACI, and SWPPP certifications are preferred, but all education and experience will be taken into consideration.
The personnel will work under the supervision of a City project manager and perform technical duties associated with the project. These duties will include, but are not limited to, observation of the work, quality assurance and control, submission of daily construction reports and photographs, review of contractor invoices and change orders, and coordination between the design engineer(s), contractor, and agencies having jurisdiction, utility companies, the public, and the City project manager. All other duties are as described in the Draft Professional Service Agreement for RPR Services included with this RFP.

The Project Representative (RPR) and their staff will need to coordinate and oversee the work, including work by others, so it conforms to the drawings and specifications. Drawings and specifications are available on www.bidnetdirect.com for review by the Consultant(s).
