City of Benton Harbor Lift Station Improvements
The City of Benton Harbor is requesting Bids for the construction of Lift Station Improvements. Bids for the construction of the project will be received at the City Hall located at 200 E Wall St Benton Harbor, MI 49022, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, December 18, 2025. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The project includes improvements to six existing lift stations and complete replacement of a seventh lift station. Improvements to six lift stations include items such as generator replacements, fencing, pump replacement, valve vault hatch replacement, driveway construction, plugging gravity sewer, electrical upgrades, and all associated removals. Crystal Avenue lift station calls for partial removal and abandonment of the existing lift station and a proposed duplex submersible lift station, control panel, valves, piping, and all associated appurtenances.
Prospective Bidders may request the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office of the Bidding Documents is: Fleis & VandenBrink, 2960 Lucerne Dr. SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546; Email: bidroom@fveng.com; Telephone (616) 977-1000. Bidding Documents will be emailed in portable document format (PDF) at no charge; hard copy documents are not available. Non-biddable documents may be viewed in the on-line Bid Room at www.fveng.com.
The date the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. A pre-bid conference will not be held.

The City of Benton Harbor reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the City of Benton Harbor.
