Bond Project: Gardner Edgerton High School TRAILS Renovation and Addition: Bid Packages 1, 2 & 3

• Newkirk Novak Construction Partners is seeking bid proposals for the Gardner Edgerton High School Trails Renovation and Addition located at 420 North Buckeye Street, Gardner, Kansas. The project includes a new addition and selective renovations to support the school’s Trails program, including selective demolition, new foundations and structural steel, exterior envelope construction, interior build-out of classrooms and support spaces, and an ICC 500?rated storm shelter.

  • SCOPE - Bid Package 2: Concrete; Masonry; Earthwork; Site Utilities

  • SCOPE - Bid Package 3: Selective Demolition; General Trades; Joint Sealants; Roofing; EIFS; Firestopping; Glass & Glazing; Doors, Frames & Hardware; Drywall & Framing; Tile; Flooring; Resinous Flooring; Painting; Signage; Fire Protection; Plumbing; Mechanical; Electrical; Asphalt; Landscaping

• Associated work includes site improvements, utilities, and new mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems. Construction will occur on an active high school campus and will require coordination with existing conditions and campus operations.

• The project is currently in Design Development, with drawings and specifications prepared by DLR Group.

• Bidding will be issued in three packages: Bid Package 1 will be open from January 28 through February 10, Bid Package 2 from February 10 through February 24, and Bid Package 3 from March 2 through March 23.
