RFA-2026-DPH-09-CONTR: Contracted State Public Health Veterinarian
Bureau of Infectious Disease Control
The Department is seeking a licensed veterinarian with experience in public health to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in zoonotic diseases, which are diseases that can spread between animals and humans. The selected Vendor will support Department staff during outbreak response and case management efforts across the state. Responsibilities include assessing zoonotic conditions and providing technical assistance in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures. The selected Vendor must collaborate with the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food (DAMF), New Hampshire Fish and Game, healthcare partners, providers, local officials, schools, city health departments, and the general public with the goal of preventing disease exposure and helping control the spread of diseases transmitted from animals and animal products to humans.
