Mohawk and Chick Springs Mini-Roundabout

The City of Greenville is requesting bids for the installation of a new mini roundabout at the intersection of Chick Springs Road and Mohawk Drive, tying into existing infrastructure at the North side of Ashford Avenue. The scope of services involves construction of a 35 feet diameter center island, three approach islands, curb and gutter, sidewalk, handicap ramps, cross walks, pavement striping, permanent signage, guardrail, removal of pavement, installation of pavement, curb lawns (grass strips), minor site grading, sediment and erosion control, stormwater upgrades, and signed traffic control and traffic detours.

1) MOHAWK DRIVE - From center of proposed roundabout, work will extend south for approximately 120 linear feet on Mohawk Drive.

2) CHICK SPRINGS ROAD - From center of proposed roundabout, work will extend southeast approximately 135 linear feet toward Wade Hampton Boulevard.

3) CHICK SPRINGS ROAD ? From center of proposed roundabout, work will extend north for approximately 100 linear feet.

Bids will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, February 25, 2026. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., February 16, 2026.
