Don Ana County (DAC) is soliciting qualifications-based competitive sealed proposals to provide Food Services for the Detention Center. The term of this contract shall be one (1) year with an option to renew by mutual consent for seven (7) additional one (1) year periods.

Dona Ana County Detention Center (DACDC) is responsible for the administration of adult and juvenile male and female incarceration. DACDC has 250 full-time staff, which include administrative, security, support and medical staff. In addition to county employees, there are 118 contract personnel and, at any given time, up to 67 volunteers. The Detention Center includes the following functional areas: Jail operations, Classification section, Booking section, Records section, Transportation section, Facility operations, Dispositions section, Food Operations, and Medical Services. The facility is located at 1850 Copper Loop, Las Cruces, NM 88005
