Sealed bids shall be submitted electronically to bidsubmit@portlandmaine.gov with the name of the Bidder, Contract Name and Bid number in the subject line will be received until 2:30 p.m., May 14th, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read, or by submitting via USPS, UPS, FedEx or in person to the City of Portland, Purchasing Rm. 103, 389 Congress St., Portland ME 04101. Late and/or faxed proposals shall not be accepted. All proposals shall remain open to acceptance for ninety (90) days from their opening. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified.

Outline of Work: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: the demolition of select existing utilities, installation of new light poles, installation of new building mounted lights, underground conduit, lighting controls, and coordination with existing site utilities and infrastructure.

MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE

It is mandatory that all prospective bidders attend a pre-bid meeting at the front/main entrance of PATHS High School, 196 Allen Avenue, Portland, Maine, on April 29th, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Only those firms represented at this meeting may bid on the project.
