Invitation to Bid: 2026 LRA LMIG Street Improvements

Sealed bids will be received for the 2026 LRA Street Improvements at the Butts County Board of Commissioners, 625 West Third Street, Suite 4, Jackson, Georgia 30233, until August 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM (Local Time), at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Project Description

The project consists of approximately ±2.14 miles of full-depth reclamation, leveling, resurfacing, widening, and patching, including all necessary appurtenances for a complete street improvement project.

Contract Duration

All work must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Bid Documents

Bid proposals must be submitted using the official Bid Proposal Forms in accordance with the Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications prepared by Hofstadter and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.

Copies of the Bid Forms, Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents may be obtained from Hofstadter and Associates, Inc. upon payment of a $150.00 deposit per PDF set. Deposits are non-refundable.

Bid Requirements

• Bids must be sealed and submitted before the deadline.
• A bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount is required.
• The successful bidder must provide the required Payment Bond, Performance Bond, and Insurance Certificates.
• Late bids will be returned unopened.

Additional Information

• Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after bid opening.
• Butts County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities.
