Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Wheeled Sports Park Facility

The City of Greenville is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services in connection with the design of a wheeled sports park facility that will be the first of its kind in the area. Firms interested in providing these services must prepare and submit a proposal in accordance with the Scope of Services in this Request for Proposals.

It is the intention of the City to select a CMAR to provide expertise to the Owner and Architect in pre-construction and construction phase services for this project. Work shall be pursuant to the AIA Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (AIA A133-2019) and General Conditions of the Contract for Construction (AIA A201-2017). The selected CMAR may self-perform no more than 25% of the construction contract cost. Also, CMAR may not perform other work on the project either directly or through a business in which he or his architectural engineering or construction management firm has greater than five percent interest

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Time: 8:00 a.m., ET. Location: Greenville Downtown Airport. Approximately 700 feet past 405 Airport Road on the left.

Proposals will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, September 17, 2026. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., September 3, 2026.
