REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/ATTORNEY-LEGAL/PROSECUTORIAL SERVICES

INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND

The City of Farmers Branch serves an area of approximately 12 square miles and has a population of about 40,000 residents. It operates under a council-manager form of government, with a mayor and five Council Members. The City Attorney is responsive to the City Council and receives direction from the City Council as a whole, with the City Manager providing day-to-day direction as to the required legal services consistent with the direction and policies of the City Council.

PURPOSE

The City of Farmers Branch is soliciting Requests for Qualifications for Attorney-Legal/Prosecutorial Services. The City will award the bid to the firm/attorney who is qualified and has experience in municipal legal/prosecutorial services, general municipal counsel, land-use counsel, and counsel for special projects.

The City of Farmers Branch is seeking Counsel in each of the following areas:

• General Municipal Counsel
• Municipal Court Prosecution
• Land-Use Counsel
• Human Resources

SUBMISSIONS

Requests for Qualifications will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City of Farmers Branch, 13000 William Dodson Parkway, Farmers Branch, TX 75234, until 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Any RFQ received after the closing time will not be accepted for consideration and will be returned unopened. All RFQs must be in a sealed box or envelope clearly marked on the outside with the following: "Request for Qualifications/Attorney-Legal/Prosecutorial Services."
