Summary
The Vendor shall provide durable, portable litter fencing that can be arranged in close proximity to the landfill working face and quickly relocated by dozers as wind conditions shift or as the working face moves.
Background
The County operate a 1,500 ton per day Subtitle D landfill. The objective of this purchase is to consistently meet the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) regulatory compliance for litter. This can only be accomplished if we can react quickly to changes in wind direction. Portability, lack of gaps between fencing and durability are extremely important.
