NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids addressed to the Honorable Mayor and City Council will be received at the office of

Amy M. Casey, the City Clerk, City of Belton, City Hall; 333 Water Street; Belton, Texas 76513 until

2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, for the construction of the Rockwool Site Water and Wastewater

Improvements in the City of Belton, Texas. The bids shall be labeled:

Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified

check or acceptable bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Belton, Texas in an amount not

less than five (5) percent of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and

execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within fifteen (15) days after the notification of the

award of the contract.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the main Conference Room in Belton City Hall; 333

Water Street; Belton, Texas; 76513 at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The City Council will

officially review the bids at a regularly scheduled meeting and award the contract as soon thereafter as

practical. The City of Belton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, as the best interest of

the City may require, and to waive any informality in bids received.

This project includes construction of approximately 3,200 LF of 10-inch gravity wastewater line, 70 LF of

8-inch gravity wastewater line, 1,590 LF of 6-inch force main, 1,370 LF of 8-inch waterline, and a duplex

submersible lift station, including yard piping, fiberglass wet well, valves, fencing, electrical,

instrumentation, minor site grading, and appurtenances called for in the plans and specifications. This

project also includes the abandonment of an existing lift station.

Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured beginning Monday, October 27, 2025, at

Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP; (254) 773-3731; 19 North Main Street; Temple, Texas 76501 for a

non-refundable cost of $75.00 per set (11”x17”) printed (or no charge for PDF download). Checks

shall be made payable to Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the City of Belton Public Works Center located at

1502 Holland Road, Belton, Texas 76513 at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Although this is

not a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend.
