Description


Sealed Bids for the construction of the FY 2026 LMIG for Roadway Resurfacing & Striping will be received, by Berrien County Board of Commissioners, at 201 N Davis Street, Nashville, GA 31639, until 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 28, 2026, local time, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the proposed FY 2026 LMIG for Roadway Resurfacing & Striping as shown on the construction drawings. In general, construction consists of resurfacing approximately ± 2.87 miles of roadway & striping approximately ± 73.32 miles over 22 roads and all associated measures for the complete projects. Time allotted for completion of work is 90 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion. Work shall be complete and ready for contract closeout with 104 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work will be awarded in two (2) Contracts (resurfacing &/or striping). Copies of Bidding Documents for bidding purposes can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C., 1606 Whiddon Mill Road, Tifton, Georgia 31793, Phone: (229) 388-8823, (Office of the Engineer) upon payment of $300.00 for each set (non-refundable). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the         Berrien County Board of Commissioners, located at 201 N Davis Street, Nashville, GA 31639 or at Watkins & Associates, LLC on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Upon request and receipt of the document payment indicated above, Watkins & Associates, LLC will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted will be considered the prospective Bidder¿s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available.
